1. If you have lost or gained weight
If your body has changed, it’s time to get yourself fitted for a new bra ! Whether you’ve gained or lost a few pounds due to various reasons such as been pregnant, or are going through menopause etc... Changes in your body usually means changes in the shape or size of your breasts, even if you don’t notice them. Make sure you get a bra that accurately fits the body you have.
2. When your Bra is worn off
A Good quality Bra can last for about a Year depending on how well you take care of it, which means rotating the bras you use (For this you need to have few more obviously!). Always hand wash your bra, and let it air dry, I Know most of us use hand/gentle wash option in washing machine,(who got time to wash them by hand !) , when the straps are too stretchy and foam cups starts to wrinkle that is the time!
3. Too Stretched Out Bras
How do you know this ? well this is pretty simple. If the band is riding up your back and/or you find yourself adjusting the straps tighter every time you wear it, your bra is losing its shape and structure, and it’s time to replace it.
4. Cup Coverage
Different types of bras provide varying amounts of coverage and cleavage, your breasts should still be able to fit inside the cups. Bra should fit on all sides and extend to the area under your arms. Beware of extra skin spilling from the sides of the cups near your armpits.
5. If you feel uncomfortable in your Bra
This is one very important thing you should never sacrifice for a bra comfort. In fact, you shouldn’t even feel the bra on your body throughout the day. If you find yourself constantly adjusting straps, scooping your breasts into your bra, fiddling with the band in the front or back, or dealing with pain from clasps or wires, time to change your Bra!
And of course another very important one is you need to buy a new Bra!
A comfortable bra makes a huge difference. Hope this helps deciding your next Bra shopping!
